Top 5 Golf Courses in Mallorca for Beginners & High Handicappers

If you're new to golf or still building your confidence, Mallorca has some of the most welcoming courses in the Mediterranean. Here are our top 5 picks where you can book tee times without feeling intimidated.

1. Son Vida Golf (from EUR47) Mallorca's oldest course is also its most beginner-friendly. The fairways are generous, the staff are incredibly patient, and the views of Palma Bay are so stunning you won't mind the occasional wayward shot. With green fees from just EUR47, it's also the cheapest golf in Mallorca. The practice facilities and PGA-certified lessons make it perfect for improving your game during a golf holiday.

2. Son Quint Golf (from EUR58) This modern course near Palma features an open, forgiving layout that's ideal for mid-to-high handicappers. The panoramic views are spectacular, and the course design avoids overly punishing hazards. Part of the Arabella Golf estate, you can combine it with Son Vida for a multi-course stay and play package.

3. Son Antem East Course (from EUR54) The resort course at Son Antem is designed for enjoyable golf at all levels. Wide fairways, gentle bunkering, and a relaxed atmosphere make it perfect for beginners. Connected to the Marriott resort, it's ideal for a golf break where non-golfers can enjoy the pool and spa.

4. Pula Golf Resort (from EUR74) Designed by Jose Maria Olazabal, Pula Golf offers a beautiful setting in eastern Mallorca near Cala Millor. The course flows naturally through Mediterranean landscape and, while it has some challenging holes, the overall experience is welcoming for improving players.

5. Golf Son Servera (from EUR73) One of Mallorca's older courses, Son Servera has a traditional layout that rewards good course management over raw power. The staff are welcoming, the pace of play is relaxed, and the eastern location means it's often quieter than courses near Palma.
